A welcoming family in Pyrford are looking for a caring and experienced part time nanny to support their two children, aged 4 and 6 years old. The role will focus on providing reliable after-school care, helping with the children’s routines and ensuring they have a happy and enjoyable end to their day.

The successful candidate will be warm, dependable and confident caring for young children, with the ability to organise activities and manage the children’s routines independently. A driver is ideal for the role, particularly for school collections and taking the children to their activities. Previous nanny experience and excellent references are required.

Duties include:

collecting the children from school
caring for the children throughout the afternoon and evening
preparing snacks and children’s meals
helping with homework and reading
organising games, crafts and age-appropriate activities
taking the children to local activities and clubs
encouraging outdoor play and trips to the park
supporting bath and bedtime routines
helping the children get ready for the following school day
keeping children’s rooms and play areas tidy
organising school bags, uniforms and belongings
washing up and tidying after the children’s meals
running occasional child-related errands
driving the children when required
ensuring the children’s safety and wellbeing at all times

Requirements:

Paediatric First Aid

Enhanced DBS check

UK work permit

Driver’s License
