Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 / 8am to 6:30pm

A lovely family based in Loughton, Essex, are seeking an experienced full time nanny housekeeper to care for their newborn baby, currently 4 weeks old, while also helping with the general upkeep of the family home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, nurturing and reliable candidate who is confident caring for very young babies and enjoys combining childcare with household support.

The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience and be confident supporting feeding, changing, settling and daily baby routines. They should also be organised, proactive and happy to assist with general housekeeping and light family cooking when required. The family are pet friendly, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working around pets. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing attentive and nurturing care for the newborn baby
supporting the baby’s feeding and sleeping routines
changing nappies and dressing the baby
settling and soothing the baby when required
organising age-appropriate activities and stimulation
keeping the baby’s nursery, bedroom and belongings tidy and organised
washing and sterilising bottles and baby equipment
doing the baby’s laundry and keeping clothing organised
preparing simple meals and snacks for the family when required
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
running occasional household errands when required
being comfortable working in a pet-friendly household
ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly

Paediatric First Aid
