Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 / 8am to 6:30pm

A lovely family based in Loughton are seeking an experienced and nurturing full time nanny housekeeper to care for their baby, who is currently 4 weeks old, while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping duties in a family environment.

The family are happy to consider a candidate who can start sooner on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week), with the role becoming full time from November or December. The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young babies, be confident supporting developmental milestones and be comfortable working in a home with one friendly dog. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby
supporting feeding, changing, settling and nap routines
planning stimulating and age-appropriate activities as the baby grows
supporting developmental milestones through play and interaction
preparing bottles, weaning meals and healthy snacks when appropriate
keeping the nursery, toys and baby equipment clean and organised
taking the baby for walks and local outings when suitable
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
making beds and changing bed linen
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
preparing simple family meals when required
running household errands and grocery shopping if needed
being comfortable working in a home with one dog
ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly at all times
