Days/Hours: 3-4 days a week, 40-45 hours per week

A lovely family based in Merton are seeking an experienced live out nanny housekeeper to provide attentive care for their two children, aged 2 and 6 years old, while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping in a busy family environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children, be confident managing daily routines independently and be happy to use their initiative around the home. Applicants should also be pet friendly and comfortable working in a household with pets. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
supporting nursery and school routines
planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
encouraging learning and development through play
preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
helping with homework and after-school activities
supporting bath time and evening routines when required
keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
making beds and changing bed linen
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
preparing simple family meals when required
running household errands when needed
being comfortable working in a pet-friendly household
ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly at all times
