A family in Barnes is looking for a caring and experienced Daily Nanny to care for their son, born in April 2026.
Highlights
Start: August 2026
Location: Barnes, London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6pm, with flexibility to stay later occasionally
Salary: £60,000+ gross per annum (DOE)
Overview
The role will begin with a two-week handover period with Mum before she returns to work in early September.
This is a traditional nanny role focused on creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The family is looking for someone experienced with babies and weaning, who can confidently guide routines and support developmental milestones.
The successful candidate will be proactive, engaging, and focused on age-appropriate activities, reading, and social development. The family is hoping to find a long-term nanny who can grow with the family as they plan for a second child in the future.
Duties included but not limited to:
Full nursery duties
Supporting routines, weaning, and developmental milestones
Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
Encouraging reading and social interaction
Preparing larger batches of baby food and simple family cooking
Keeping nursery areas organised and tidy
Providing guidance and support to first-time parents
Key Criteria
Strong baby and weaning experience
Warm, caring, and nurturing personality
A driver is not essential but would be a bonus
Parking can be provided
