Description
This original painting is one of my favourite works which I have been lucky to have picked up. I got it from a gallery in Lima, Peru in April 1997. I was on an 18 month backpacking trip with my then girlfriend. We had started out in Venezuela in early June 1996, and went down as far as Cape Horn, before finally heading into San Diego USA in November 1997. I have always been interested in world politics, and this reflects the fragility and violence that permeates most of Latin American life.
