The Aprilia Tuareg 660 debuts in style. With some subtle styling nods to the model from the 1980’s this new bike has its own distinctive style featuring full LED lighting with the brands signature DRL pattern.

The Aprilia engineers have a reworked the class leading 659cc parallel twin engine to increase torque and low-to-midrange performance. The result is 80hp and 70.5Nm the torque figure being improved compared to its sportier 660 siblings.

The chassis has been designed to offer exception performance both on and off road, the engine is now mounted in 6 places and steel has been used for the frame elements to enable the designers to keep the finished bike as light and narrow as possible. This narrowness means that the already low 850mm saddle height feels even lower.

In usual Aprilia fashion the bike has been adorned with the brands brilliant APRC system, featuring 4 riding modes; Explore, Urban, Off-road, and Individual the latter being fully customisable through the 5″ tft screen. It is also possible to fully deactivate ABS on both wheels or just the rear. Other electronic aids include Cruise control.

To emphasize the off road credentials of this bike it has been adorned with the classic combination of 21″ front and 18″ rear wheels featuring cross spoke tubeless rims and shod in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.

Range has been optimized with the use of an 18 litre tank cleverly situated as low in the frame as possible to maintain a relatively low centre of gravity.

Indaco Tagelmust (Blue/White)is the statement Tuareg bike in the range: a tribute to the Dakari Aprilia lineage with a bright and iconic colour scheme that perfectly compliments the DRL light configuration.

In addition the the excellent standard specification this bike has been fitted with a Touring Screen, Genuine Aprilia heated grips, Genuine Centre Stand and Shad Terra TR37 aluminium top box.
