Description
This genuine antique trunk is from the mid 18th century. It made a return trip to Canada around 1860 and has Canadian scenes on the inner compartment.
At around 3 feet long and 1.5 feet wide it is an impressive size but ideal for a decorative piece.
As expected with its age and journey it has some damage. The lock hinged flap is gone (probably forced open by pirates)🤣. The leather handle on one side has pulled away and it has the expected marks of a 150 year old piece of luggage.
Great feature piece that could be converted to a small table by an expert or just as a show piece. Or a dressing up box, toy pirate treasure chest.
Possible delivery around South or East Devon at an agreed price.
