Beautiful pair of antique Staffordshire-style greyhound / whippet mantel figures with lovely fox-red colouring and hand-painted gilt detail to the collars and bases.
These are a genuine matching left/right pair in the traditional flatback style, likely late 19th to early 20th century English pottery. Wonderfully expressive faces and elegant proportions typical of Staffordshire animal figures.
