Antique Art Deco 1930s Baxter Box.
Someone has been storing coal in this, although I'm led to believe it was originally patented for storing ice.
Really stylish piece. Has original zinc liner and is in good condition, exterior obviously has some signs of age, please see pictures. Reeded decoration to corners atop cabriole feet.
Has been cleaned and waxed. Can be used to store coal/wood, or I've seen them repurposed as sewing boxes and plant stands. Great compact size for a modern home.
