Assistant General Manager for NSO in Cheshire

A rare opportunity to help launch an exciting new restaurant and grow with the business.

What You Will Do

Lead, mentor, and inspire your team from the front, setting the standard every day

Oversee the smooth operation of the restaurant and deli across all services

Develop your team both professionally and personally, supporting wellbeing and growth

Maintain exceptional service standards across all departments

Create a world-class working environment built on care, compassion, and development

Manage budgets effectively, setting clear financial targets and motivating the team to achieve them

Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety throughout the business

Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, instilling strong values and professionalism from day one

Champion company values, working with pride and encouraging the same in your team

Foster an inclusive culture where ideas are welcomed, valued, and acted upon

Manage rotas to meet business needs while supporting team wellbeing

Handle customer requests, feedback, and escalations promptly and professionally

Ensure consistent quality control across food, drink, and service

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and elevate the guest experience

Manage comps responsibly, ensuring correct controls are followed

Build a learning culture where achievements are recognised and celebrated

Ensure all new starters complete a structured induction programme

Provide regular feedback, appraisals, and performance management in line with company standards

Experienced at Assistant General Manager level within a busy hospitality business
