Graduate Town Planner

Location: Cambridge

A highly regarded planning consultancy is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a supportive and commercially focused environment, working on a wide range of exciting projects across the region.

The Role

You will be part of an experienced planning team, supporting the delivery of high-quality planning advice across sectors including residential, mixed-use, and strategic land development. The role offers hands-on experience and exposure to all stages of the planning process.

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy research

Supporting the production of planning statements and reports

Engaging with local authorities, clients, and external consultants

Monitoring planning policy and legislative updatesAbout You

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline

Strong interest in working towards MRTPI accreditation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

A proactive and professional approach

Previous planning experience (placement xjnqpsq or internship) is beneficial but not essentialWhat's on Offer
