Senior Finance Officer – Swinton – Hybrid - Up to £33,000 + Benefits

Working for Portus Property Management (Portus’s inhouse maintenance company), we are looking to recruit to the role of Senior Finance Officer.

Key Responsibilities

* Process invoices and credit notes accurately and in line with financial procedures.

* Ensure expenditure is correctly coded and approved, resolving queries with suppliers and internal teams.

* Maintain and reconcile Purchase and Sales Ledgers, investigating outstanding balances.

* Complete supplier statement reconciliations and prepare regular payment runs.

* Post bank transactions accurately onto the Financial Management System (FMS).

* Maintain and verify supplier details and process authorised expenses.

* Review DLO timesheets and consolidate subcontractor information for recharge invoicing.

* Monitor the Finance mailbox and respond to supplier and internal queries.

* Support budgeting, year-end audit and statutory accounts reporting.

* Maintain accurate financial records, process notes and compliance with Finance KPIs.

* Support the wider Finance team with reporting and ad hoc duties as required.
