Overview

A leading international multi-asset exchange organisation operating across equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. The organisation is focused on strengthening its technology platforms, regulatory compliance, and delivery capability to support global market participants.

Role Purpose

The Senior Delivery Manager will lead the design, implementation, and adoption of delivery methodologies and governance frameworks across technology, product, and change functions.

You will operate at the intersection of technology, product, business, and risk, ensuring delivery is predictable, transparent, and aligned to strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Methodology & Framework Design

Define and implement hybrid delivery frameworks (Agile) aligned to enterprise needsEstablish a standardised Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across programmesEmbed best practices across tooling such as Jira and ConfluenceEnsure alignment across engineering, architecture, and productGovernance & Control Framework

Design and implement a robust delivery governance model, including:Programme and portfolio governance forumsStandardised reporting (RAID, status, financial tracking)Escalation and decision-making frameworksEnsure alignment with regulatory expectations from relevant financial authoritiesBuild audit-ready processes and artefactsAdoption & Change Leadership

Drive enterprise-wide adoption of delivery standards and governance frameworksLead stakeholder engagement across Technology, Business, Risk, and ComplianceDevelop and execute change management strategies to embed new ways of workingAddress resistance and ensure sustained behavioural changeDelivery Oversight & Performance

Provide oversight and assurance across key programmes and initiativesCoach and support Delivery Managers, Programme Managers, and Scrum MastersIntervene in at-risk programmes and drive recovery plansDefine and track delivery KPIs and success metrics (predictability, velocity, risk reduction)Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

Engage senior stakeholders and executives to align delivery with strategic prioritiesPresent at governance forums and steering committeesAct as a trusted advisor on delivery strategy and execution

Skills & Experience

Essential

Proven experience as a Senior Delivery Manager or Programme Lead within financial services or regulated environmentsDemonstrated success in: Designing and implementing delivery methodologiesBuilding governance frameworks at scaleDriving organisational adoption and changeStrong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery modelsStrong knowledge of SDLC and enterprise delivery toolingExperience operating in regulated environments with audit and compliance requirementsExcellent stakeholder management, including executive-level engagementDesirable

Experience within capital markets, trading platforms, or exchange environmentsFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks in global financial markets
