This is ideal for a qualified Accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory work and supporting the development of junior team members. Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a large portfolio of SME clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnershipsPreparation and review of statutory accounts and corporation tax returnsPreparation and review of personal tax returns, with the ability to identify and support tax planning opportunitiesActing as a trusted adviser to clients on accounting, tax, and general business mattersManaging deadlines and workflow across your client portfolioReviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance, support, and mentoringSupporting partners with advisory projects and ongoing practice developmentWhat we're looking for in a Senior/Qualified AccountantACCA or AAT qualifiedMust be Wirral-basedStrong UK practice background with extensive experienceProven experience managing your own client portfolioExcellent technical knowledge of UK accounting and taxConfident and professional communicator with strong client relationship skillsExperience using cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Xero and Sage and preferably tax software TaxCalcComfortable reviewing work and supporting junior team membersProactive, well-organised, and commercially minded, with a can-do attitudeTo apply for this role as Senior/Qualified Accountant, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
