Fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a well-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Driffield, North Yorkshire. Your career will progress through your studies and work experience, as a Trainee Accountant you will have the support of other employees who are studying, whilst gaining a breadth of experience from senior staff. As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:Preparation of year end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.Preparation of VAT returns.Support with bookkeeping as and when required.Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.To successfully apply for this Trainee Accountant position, ideally you will meet the following:Be studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA.Have 2+ years' experience within an Accountancy Firm, in a Trainee Accountant position.Be committed to your studies to ensure your long-term progression and success.Comfortable building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.What's on offer?Flexible working.Hybrid working options.Parking available.Enhanced annual leaveFull study support.Salary from GBP25,000p/a to GBP30,000p/a.If you are interested in this Trainee Accountant position or would like any further information, please contact Leah Mason-Wilson at IPS Finance.
