We're looking for a Senior Pensions Consultant to join our clients growing team in London. You'll support the smooth running of a wide range of trust-based company pension schemes, including defined benefit, defined contribution, career average revalued earnings, and hybrid schemes

Training of other team membersAssisting less experienced team membersChecking and authorising other team members' workMeeting deadlinesCalculation and payment of scheme benefits in accordance with the RulesMaintenance of membership records and other documentationUnderstanding and application of benefit structures, Trust Deed & Rules, current pensions legislation, PSO and Disclosure requirementsProject work as directed by Team Leader or ManagerLiaison with Client, Scheme Actuary, Consultants, Providers, Pension Payroll Members and third partiesProvision of technical information both verbally and in writingCompliance with ISO and AAF accreditationsCompleting updates to the database to ensure that records are accurately maintainedDealing confidently with member enquiries by phone, email, and letterThe successful Pensions Consultant will have the following related skills / experience:

Previous experience within a similar role dealing with DB schemesExperience within the pensions' industryAble to demonstrate ownership, responsibility, and accountability for selfBe organised, methodical and logical in approach to delegated responsibilitiesAble to develop administrators and administrative processesStudying for or a willingness to study for a relevant pension's qualification e.g. CPC/QPA/DPC/RPC/APMI.
