Halliday Marx are excited to partner with a Multi-National Consultancy to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity.

This is a key role ensuring accurate and timely reporting for the UK & EMEA.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include;

Responsible for the monthly and quarterly reporting for EMEA and UK entitiesPreparation of balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of journals, accruals and repayments ensuring accurate and timely postingsPreparation of monthly variance analysis and commentariesPreparation of Statutory accounts under UK GAAPLiaise and support the FP&A team to ensure month end is inline with budgets and forecastsEnsure the accurate and timely close and reporting of financial results in compliance with statutory requirementsPreparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting / financial statementsAdhere to internal controls including SOX requirementsSupport the finalisation of the statutory accountsPreparation of monthly variance analysis and commentaries, liaising with FP&A department to confirm these are in line with their forecastsAdhoc projects to support the business

The Successful Candidate;

Newly qualified or finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalentQualified in practice with your first job into a commercial environment is desirableDemonstrable experience preparing Statutory AccountsProfessional and confident self starter who thrives working in a team environmentExceptional written and verbal communicator across all organisational levels within a businessStrong multi-tasker who thrives working in a deadline driven environmentPrevious experience with US GAAP would be advantageousExperience with statutory reporting based on UK GAAPPrevious international working experience is desirable
