Our client is a PE Backed SaaS business are looking to hire a Management Accountant. They are based in central London and offer hybrid working and excellent career progression from day one. This role would suit someone who is newly qualified / finalist and ideally had exposure within a SaaS business. Please be aware you must be eligible to work in the UK for this role. About the CompanyWe are a fast-growing, private equity-backed SaaS business focused on delivering innovative software solutions to a growing customer base within Real Estate. With strong recurring revenues and ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to strengthen our finance function and support strategic decision-making.

Role OverviewThe Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, improving financial controls, and providing insight to support business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment and wants exposure to a PE-backed business.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure timely reporting, support forecasting and budgeting, and drive process improvements across finance operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Month-EndPrepare monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysisLead month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliationsMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial dataProduce KPI reporting focused on SaaS metrics including:ARR / MRRGross retention / net revenue retentionChurn analysisCustomer acquisition costsEBITDA performanceBudgeting & ForecastingAssist with annual budgeting and rolling forecastsSupport cash flow forecasting and working capital managementPartner with department heads to monitor spend against budgetsProvide financial modelling and scenario analysisCommercial & Business PartneringDeliver actionable financial insight to support decision-makingAnalyse revenue trends, margins, and operational performanceSupport pricing, profitability, and investment analysisWork closely with sales and operations teams on revenue reportingControls & ComplianceEnsure strong financial controls and adherence to accounting standardsSupport audit preparation and liaise with external auditorsAssist with tax, VAT, and statutory reporting requirementsContinuously improve finance processes and systemsPrivate Equity & Growth SupportSupport board and investor reporting requirementsAssist with due diligence, acquisitions, and fundraising activities where requiredHelp develop scalable finance processes suitable for a high-growth environmentSkills & Experience RequiredEssentialACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalistPrevious experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance roleStrong understanding of management reporting and financial controlsAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentDesirableExperience in a SaaS or recurring revenue businessExposure to PE-backed or high-growth companiesKnowledge of SaaS KPIs and revenue recognition principlesExperience with finance systems such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, or similarFamiliarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Personal AttributesCommercially minded with strong attention to detailProactive and solutions-focusedConfident communicating with senior stakeholdersAdaptable and comfortable working in a scaling businessStrong organisational and time management skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and bonus potentialHybrid/flexible workingOpportunity to work in a high-growth PE-backed environmentExposure to strategic projects and senior leadershipCareer progression opportunitiesPension, healthcare, and additional benefits
