My client is a small London-based charity with offices in the City.

Your new role

The role is a Management Accountant for a period of 9 months, covering maternity. The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

Prepare monthly management accounts including investigation of variances and providing commentary on theseUpdate cashflow reporting and quarterly consolidation across all subsidiariesProduce quarterly reports and monthly reconciliations of the following areas:Income vs expenditureReview of cost of sales accrualsReview of other overheads v budget spend Prepare subsidiary accounts and liaise with managers regarding variancesTo reconcile inter-company accounts on a quarterly basis Prepare the year-end accountsIdentify areas for development and recommend process improvementsAd-hoc duties related to supporting the Financial ControllerWhat you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will need previous experience in management accounting, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with non-finance staff. Previous systems experience, as well as a good knowledge of Excel are also essential.
