About the Client Our client, is an established London-based full-service accountancy and advisory firm providing specialist accounting, audit, tax and outsourcing and advisory services to businesses operating primarily within regulated sectors and financial services organisations. The firm and its Partners have built a reputation for delivering high-quality reporting and advisory support while maintaining a collaborative and supportive working environment.The Role Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Management Accountant to join its London based management accounts team. Working with a portfolio of FCA regulated clients, the role will prepare management accounting, oversee bookkeeping, VAT and reviewing work completed by junior staff. Key responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients in the financial services sectorExtensive VAT returnsReview of bookkeeping prepared by apprentices and junior team members, providing guidance and feedbackLiaising with clients regarding financial queries, reporting and forecasting supportPreparation of FCA regulatory returns where requiredThe Person The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience preparing management accounts in a client facing accountancy practice environment. Skills and experience required:ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualifiedExperience preparing management accounts for multiple clients or entitiesStrong VAT knowledge and experience preparing VAT returnsExperience using Xero or similar cloud accounting softwareAbility to review junior work and support developing team membersStrong communication skills and confidence working directly with clientsExperience with FCA regulated businesses would be beneficial but is not essentialWork in offices and at clients in central LondonWhat's on Offer This is a great opportunity to join a team of professionals who have an unmatched reputation in with financial services clients.Hybrid working on offer with supportive and collaborative staff being in the office more often than notExposure to regulated financial services clientsIf this vacancy is of interest to you, then please apply or contact Jonathan from Absolute Recruit.
