Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Group Accountant - Corporate for a local authority in London.

Accountabilities

Supporting budget setting, monitoring, and forecasting across diverse service areas (Finance, IT and revs and bens, chief exec, HR, comms, legal, and policy)Providing clear, strategic financial analysis that drives smarter decision-makingChallenging assumptions and influencing senior leaders to deliver efficiencies and value for moneyActing as a bridge between finance and operations - turning numbers into real-world impact

Candidate Requirements

CCAB or CIMA Qualified with post qualification finance / accounting experience (E)Strong attention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong Corporate experience working in a local authority organisation (E)Strong strategic FBP experience working in a local authority, ideally a London Borough (E)
