Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

Halliday Marx have partnered with an Environmental Services firm to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk on an interim basis for 6 months.

This role is fully office based

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of supplier invoices in line with company policy and payment termsReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies or queries in a timely mannerPrepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, international payments)Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage purchase order and invoice matchingEnsure all AP records are accurately maintained and properly coded for management reportingAssist in month-end close procedures including AP accruals and reportingSupport with VAT compliance and audit requestsContinuously seek to improve AP processes and contribute to system improvements

Requirements

Available to start within 2 weeksMinimum of 2 years experience with Accounts PayableExperience dealing with expensesMulti entity experienceUnderstanding how a PO system works end to endSage 200 experience is a nice to have but not a mustGood attitude and a good problem solver
