Your new roleThe client is seeking a Finance Officer to join the team on a six-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing & submitting daily, weekly and monthly H.O. reports.Reporting on the daily LCR report.Checking daily reconciliations.Preparing invoice entries and entering supplier payments through the Faster payment system.Authorising daily T24 entriesPreparing Quarterly VAT Returns for all branches and subsidiaries.Assisting with the CAR Report.Monthly and Quarterly BoE Reporting.To Provide Support to staff regarding daily operational workTo reply to any ad-hoc queries received from other departmentsAssisting with invoices scanningResponsible for daily work of other staff during holidays What you'll need to succeed

Strong academic record (GCSEs and A Levels)Part-Qualified AccountantMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within banking, but wider financial services experience will be considered.Strong excel skillsProven experience in systems implementation, process improvement, and reporting What you'll get in return
