Finance Manager

Description

I am working with an international freight company who are searching for a Finance Manager to join their growing UK Office

This will be a hands on position, which will be responsible for the team and business growth

Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Bookkeeping duties Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Assist in improving cash collection processes Financial Reporting & Controls Management Accounting - Accruals, Journals, Prepayments Budgets, cashflow analysis Post and reconcile all transactions in the accounting system Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and maintain the general ledger Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations Perform regular bank reconciliations Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Payroll Management Process payroll accurately and on time Ensure correct calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits Manage payroll taxes, statutory deductions, and filings Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality Credit Control (Initial Stage) Support year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants/auditors Support management with financial insights and ad-hoc analysis Improve financial processes and internal controls as the business grows familiar with tax (VAT)and custom duty. Experience within a similar role, dealing with end to end finance duties
