This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the finance function while also overseeing key areas of office management. You'll work closely with the two directors to support decision-making, maintain compliance, and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

My client is a trusted business with a strong reputation for quality and long-standing client relationships. They're now looking for someone commercially minded, organised, and proactive to strengthen their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide financial reporting and updates to directors

* Manage fleet documentation (10-15 vehicles) and ensure compliance

* Oversee ordering of PPE, plant and site materials

* Keep company accreditations up to date

* Manage office administration, calls, emails & correspondence

* Provide diary management and executive support to directors

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in finance management or senior bookkeeping role (construction/trades background an advantage)

* Strong knowledge of accounting systems (Sage & Xero)

* Excellent organisational and leadership skills

* Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and support business growth

* Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
