External Reporting Finance Manager - 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Location: London (Hybrid)

Day Rate: £575 per day (Inside IR35)

Start: ASAP

My client a global telecoms company is looking for an experienced External Reporting Manager to join their Group Finance function on a 6 month contract. You will play a key part in the company's statutory and external reporting process, ensuring that all financial statements and disclosures are accurate, compliant, and delivered to a high standard. This is a hands‑on position involving end‑to‑end reporting and collaboration with senior finance stakeholders and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review sections of annual and interim financial statements

Support the quarterly external reporting cycle

Work closely with consolidation, technical accounting, and audit teams

Review complex and judgemental disclosure areas (e.g., provisions, financial instruments, related parties, contingent liabilities)

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity across all published financial information

Check and verify that all disclosures are fully compliant with IFRS

Contribute to improvements in reporting processes, controls, and documentation Essential Requirements

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)

Strong background in external reporting and financial statements preparation

Experience of annual reports and financial statements xjnqpsq

Solid understanding of complex disclosure requirements

Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability

Able to work under pressure during reporting cycles

Strong communication skills and confidence working with auditors and senior stakeholders Desirable Experience

Big 4 experience

Exposure to group audits, FTSE‑level reporting

Experience reviewing detailed technical disclosures
