Job Title: Employment Tax Assistant Manager

Location: City of London - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits!

The Opportunity:

I'm seeking an experienced Employment Tax Assistant Manager to join an expanding team, where you'll manage a diverse client portfolio while developing your advisory skills and leadership capabilities. You'll be at the heart of the employment tax practice, managing the full compliance cycle while spotting opportunities to add value through advisory work.

Your Responsibilities:

Manage annual employment tax compliance including P11Ds, PSA, STBV and ERS reportingOversee year-end reporting and ensure timely, accurate deliverablesSupport due diligence and policy reviewsProvide technically robust advice on pay and benefits, employee status, and payroll complianceIdentify and develop advisory opportunities from your compliance workBuild strong client relationships and understand their commercial needsSupervise and mentor junior team membersGuide technical development and ensure quality standards About You:

CTA and/or ACA qualified (preferred)Recent practical experience managing an employment tax compliance portfolioStrong technical knowledge of employment tax legislationProactive, commercially minded approachConfidence to establish credibility at all levelsTeam-oriented with strong organisational skillsExcellent communication skills - both one-to-one and presentationsProblem-solving mindset with creative flair
