BOOKKEEPER REQUIRED – BASED IN BOURNEMOUTH / POOLE – ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE – STARTING SALARY FROM £30,000 - OFFICE BASED ROLE - FULL TIME - PERMANENT

Set up utilising the skills of a highly experienced recruiter and a fully qualified chartered accountant, we have both the recruitment skills and industry know-how to be able to bring applicants and businesses together.

We are working with a successful independent accountancy practice with offices in Bournemouth and Poole who are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to join their practice.

Working closely with the Directors of the business and working alongside a friendly, experienced team across 2 offices, you will:

* Handle a diverse portfolio of clients' accounts with the utmost care and attention to detail

* Expertly navigate VAT regulations and filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy

* Process payroll for clients efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely payments and adherence to regulations

* Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records, leaving no detail overlooked

Ideally coming from an accountancy practice background with relevant AAT bookkeeping qualifications or qualified by experience, you will:

* Demonstrated proficiency in bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll across a diverse client base

* Considerable practical experience of payroll processing, including construction industry scheme, working to tight deadlines.

* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount in this role

* Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights to support informed decision-making

* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero and Microsoft Excel are a must. Knowledge of other industry-specific software would be beneficial

* Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients alike
