Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire (fully on site)

Type: Full time, permanent

Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP37,000 per annum, depending on experience

Reporting to: Financial Controller and Managing Director

About the role

My Client, a successful food business, is looking for an Assistant Finance Controller to join its finance team in Trowbridge. You ll support the Financial Controller in running the finance function and provide accurate, timely financial information to the Managing Director and senior management. It s a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and you ll play a key part in the company s finance systems migration next year.

Key responsibilities

Assist the finance team in preparing management accounts and month-end reporting, and rebates calculationSupport the day-to-day management of accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flowAssist with payroll administration for approximately 20 employeesAssist the finance team in bank reconciliations and processing payment runsSupport the Financial Controller and senior management with analysis and ad hoc reportingPreparing year-end schedules and supporting the annual auditHelp with the move from SAP Business One to Microsoft Dynamics 365 next year About you

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)Experience in management accounts, month-end reporting and budgetingSolid knowledge of AP, AR, cash flow management, bank reconciliations and payment runsPayroll administration experienceStrong Excel skillsExperience with SAP Business One is desirable, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience would be a real advantageOrganised and accurate, and confident working with senior colleagues What we offer
