Interim Group Financial Controller

Description

The Hays Senior Finance interim & contracts team are recruiting an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to join a growing, multi–entity business for an initial six–month assignment. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, this is a hands–on role supporting the business through a period of change and growth, with a focus on financial control, group reporting, process improvement and strengthening the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities

Lead consolidated monthly management accounts and Group reportingStrengthen financial controls, processes and balance sheet integritySupport budgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementOversee statutory reporting, VAT and audit requirementsLead and support the wider finance teamDrive improvements across reporting, systems and processesPartner closely with the CFO and senior stakeholdersSupport wider finance projects and business change

About youWe're looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller / Financial Controller who can hit the ground running.Ideally you will be:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedExperienced within a Group, multi–entity or complex SME environmentTechnically strong in reporting, controls and consolidationsComfortable leading and developing a finance teamConfident working with senior stakeholdersHands–on, adaptable and commercially mindedAvailable immediately or at short noticePackage & process
