Description
With the transition to Making Tax Digital coming into effect from April of 2026 there are significant challenges to process and format accounting data to the new quarterly reporting requirements requested by HMRC. Your role will be to assist the property developer to create an intelligent AI driven spreadsheet model that will harvest the base banking and financial data and therefore simplify and streamline this monthly task. You will ideally be a current accountancy student based in central or south london. You will have a strong skill set in spreadsheets and in particular be very skilled in google spreadsheets. Being detail orientated and a problem solver are crucial also. Initially you will work with the property developer to develop the spreadsheet then future work which will be on a monthly cycle can be done remotely. This job represents a great opportunity for a young accountancy student to work on a real project to enhance their CV going forward.
Ideally you will be an accountancy student with a minimum of one year of the academic work completed.
