Higher/Nat 5 English & RMPS Tutor Experienced Teacher

Hi, I am Fiona. I am a teacher with 8 years experience, teaching and preparing young people for Higher/Nat 5 English & RMPS exams in one of Scotland's best performing schools. Additionally, I have been offering private tuition for 5 years, and have gained many of my tutor pupils through recommendations of young people I have tutored, and their families. My tutoring is online through Teams/Zoom etc & my hourly rate is £37.

I am invested in working with families to provide the best educational experience possible for their child, and to ensure the overall well-being of my tutor pupils. I have recognised through much tutoring experience, that many young people are struggling with anxiety and stress at the prospect of exams- much of this is down to not feeling equipped. I am particularly focused on providing an encouraging environment for a young person to build their skills, as well as the confidence needed to achieve well in the exam.

Over 90% of my tutor pupils have gained an A in Higher English over the last 3 years. This is an extraordinarily high rate, but it is only achieved through the joint commitment and hard work of the learner and myself.
