Description

Hello, my name is Jamie and I'm a qualified maths teacher with a passion for helping pupils succeed. I have over 10 years of experience teaching maths in schools, alongside more than 12 years of private tutoring. I believe that personalised support can make a crucial difference to a pupil's educational journey and confidence.

My approach is based on the belief that every pupil is unique. I tailor my teaching style to suit individual needs, ensuring each session is as effective as possible. My goal is not just to teach the curriculum, but to build your child's confidence and encourage good study habits that will benefit them long-term.

I am a graduate of the University of Strathclyde, where I completed a BSc in Mathematics in 2015, followed by a PGDE to become a teacher. I also hold a Master's degree, which I completed after moving to the Stirling area.

I offer tuition for a wide range of courses, including:

Primary Maths
BGE (S1-3) Maths
SQA National 4 & 5 (Mathematics and Applications of Mathematics)
SQA Higher (Mathematics)
SQA Advanced Higher (Mathematics)
I also provide support for adult learners and those studying for qualifications such as GCSEs.
