Experienced English tutor for students S1-S6

Hello! I am Zara - I am an experienced, enthusiastic and understanding tutor who is passionate about learning!

I have a 2:1 degree in English and Comparative Literature from the University of Glasgow and a Masters with Distinction in Digital Journalism. I am able to deliver tutoring to S1-S6 pupils studying English inc N5, Higher and Advanced Higher.

I have worked as a tutor throughout my time as a student and I have experience working with pupils on a 1-2-1 basis to help them to develop in their learning and meet their full potential. I have an excellent understanding of the SQA/Curriculum for Excellence and how to tailor sessions to meet the needs of a variety of learners.

I have experience as an Education Support Worker at City of Glasgow College where I delivered skills development sessions and classroom assistance.

I have received SPARQs accredited training and hold a PVG.

I am available for sessions online or in person. My rate is £30 per hour.
