Whether the car doors will lock automatically depends on the model purchased by the owner and whether it has the auto-locking feature. If this function is not available, the car will not lock itself after exiting the vehicle without manual locking.

For models equipped with the auto-locking function, if the owner leaves the car with the smart key without manually locking it, the vehicle will automatically lock after a few minutes.

A key characteristic of vehicles capable of automatic locking is a small indentation, protrusion or square grid about the size of a thumbnail near the mechanical keyhole on the driver's door handle. This feature significantly alleviates owners' concerns about locking - with keys in their bag, simply touching the door handle upon exiting will automatically engage the locks.

To disable the auto-locking function, follow these steps:

  1. Approach the driver's side of the vehicle and pull the door handle to open the door.
  2. Enter the car, close the door, and press the one-touch start button.
  3. Locate the locking button on the door handle and press it to deactivate the auto-lock function.
