Renault rebranded its F1 team to Alpine to promote the performance sub-brand while maintaining its E-Tech powertrain identity in Formula 1. The Alpine F1 Team, based in Enstone, Oxfordshire, will race in the iconic Alpine blue livery with French racing colours. This strategic move aligns Renault's motorsport activities with its revived sports car brand, which produces models like the Alpine A110. The team retains its 1.6L hybrid E-Tech power unit and driver lineup including Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon for the 2024 season. Alpine's motorsport heritage dates back to the 1970s when it won the first ever F1 World Constructors' Championship under Renault ownership.
