The VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) warning light on a Honda Accord indicates a fault in the vehicle's stability control system, often caused by a faulty sensor. This advanced system combines ABS (anti-lock braking), TCS (traction control) and skid prevention functions to help maintain control during braking, acceleration and cornering. While you can continue driving with the VSA light illuminated, avoid sharp turns at high speeds as the stability control won't be operational. The system is normally active by default - if the light comes on, check if it's been accidentally switched off via the dashboard button (near the gearstick in UK Accord models). If not manually disabled, have the system checked at a Honda dealership or qualified garage, particularly before MOT testing as this could affect the vehicle's roadworthiness. Common UK models affected include the 2015-2022 Honda Accord Tourer and 2.0 i-VTEC Executive variants.
