54There are 10 potential reasons for the engine warning light suddenly illuminating:
- Sensor malfunction: Such as coolant temperature sensor, mass air flow sensor, crankshaft position sensor, or oxygen sensor. It's advisable to visit a 4S dealership or automotive repair shop to replace the faulty sensor.
- Engine emission system failure: Caused by carbon buildup in the engine or poor fuel quality. For carbon deposits, we recommend cleaning throttle body deposits, intake tract deposits, or combustion chamber deposits. For fuel issues, always select high-quality fuel and consider using higher octane petrol.
- Ignition system failure: Potentially caused by faulty spark plugs or ignition coils. Visit a repair garage to replace spark plugs or ignition coils.
- Fuel pump failure: Solution involves replacing the fuel pump at a 4S dealership.
- Fuel line malfunction: Take the vehicle to a repair garage for professional fuel system inspection.
- Poor engine combustion: Consider using slightly higher viscosity engine oil to improve piston-to-cylinder wall sealing.
- Main circuit fuse blown: This may occur due to incorrect current or voltage ratings. Simply replace with an appropriately rated fuse.
- Engine knocking: Solution involves regular maintenance at a 4S dealership, including periodic cleaning of fuel lines and injectors.
- Engine misfire: Requires a 4S dealership to perform fuel cut-off tests on the vehicle's fuel system, followed by necessary repairs.
- Transmission or braking system failure: Visit a repair garage for professional diagnosis and resolution of transmission or braking system issues.
