Description

For sale is my much loved XJR1300.

After 18 years of not owning a bike due to a RTA leaving me with a significant leg injury I came across this beauty and couldn’t resist buying her. Sadly though, after my accident, I’m too anxious to fully enjoy riding so I’ve had hardly any use from her. In October last year I had my 8th operation and it’s left me unable to operate the back brake hence the decision to sell.

I spent a lot of time looking for an example this good, they’re becoming very rare indeed especially with such low mileage (6,800) and being totally original apart from the full Akrapovic system. Being 20 years old, there are of course some cosmetic imperfections through use. The engine has some lacquer flake but I found this reassuring when buying as it’s an honest bike, nothing has been covered up, what you see is what you get. Overall, she is very presentable to say the least.
She rides spot on and pulls like a train.

This is a reluctant sale and not driven by financial necessity. I’m on the fence as to whether I should sell or keep in as an appreciating classic investment that’s only going to go up in value.

The MOT has expired but only 25 miles have been covered since the last one which she flew with no advisories.
