Yamaha, FZS, Fazer 1000 2004

Description

2004 Fazer 1000 with just shy of 36k miles on it.
It has some small sensible mods including
R6 rear shock (copes brilliantly with my 17 stone and a pillion if needed with ease)
Stainless Dog bones
Yamaha Belly Pan
Yamaha Crash bungs
Scott oiler
Ivans jet kit (this makes for silky smooth fueling and strong power throughout the rev range.)
MOT until July

I purchased it from a chap who has owned it since 2005 and he has maintained it well, this can clearly be seen in the images. The Exhaust valve has been stripped and cleaned and serviced every year and operates perfectly.
However there are some signs of age like wheel flaking and engine paint flaking as shown
Note there is also a couple of drop marks on the nose cone pictured on the right - but as you can see condition is nice and far from the usual scruffy tired out abused examples.

It has GIVI side luggage rails (removed) and some OEM parts included like the exhaust can.

Reason for sale - its simply too heavy for me, i have an older 600 which while much lighter to handle and manage - is actually the bike i prefer to ride for short journeys as such this 1000 is offered for sale.
It comes with all handbooks, spare keys, loads of history in a folder too.

Bike located just outside of Chester (CH4) and can be viewed in office hours as the bike is in secure storage.
