1988 Yamaha XV1000 Bobber Project for sale.

I bought this bike to turn into a bobber, but unfortunately I just dont have the time to finish it off. The engine was running perfectly well before I started, which is always a good start!

I've added a few pics which show where i've got to so far.
This sale includes;
The bike as per photos (obviously)
New 'Bobber style seat (the wider version as the narrow ones just look too small)
New set of shocks.
New set of Chrome turn-out exhaust mufflers.
New side mount Number plate kit.
New Black Heatshrink wrap for the downpipes (for that classic Bobber look).
2 new pairs of Indicators.
New Speedometer (originals included also).
Box of new wires and bare bones wiring diagram.
New mini fuse box.
1 pair of new OEM footpegs.

As you can see in the photos, she is already starting to look the part. I have made the rear mudguard and supports, which tidies the rear end up nicely (there is a little surface rust on the mudguard as its been sat in the garage, but it'll scuff right off).

You'll want to put your own stamp on it, obviously, but main work that needs doing is a rewire (was planning to go barebones wiring on this), a couple of tiny dints in the tank want filling, Paint and then parts re-fitting.

V5 is present in my name.

Basically, you'll be getting everything you need to get this bobber on the road (bar a few nuts and bolts perhaps), and you are getting a lot for the money.
