Outstanding service by Art and Gorilla Flooring! I recently had Art from Gorilla Flooring come over to repair my parquet flooring, and I couldn't be happier. The foot of the sofa had pushed the parquet right under the skirting board, creating a crack in the wood. Because the damage was surrounded by other features of the house, it was a tricky, high-risk position to work on. However, Art worked quickly, with extreme precision, and handled the situation perfectly. He also replaced the transition trim profile between two rooms, doing what the original installer failed to do, managing to fit it perfectly flat and seamlessly bridging two different floor levels. I am genuinely impressed by the quality of work from Gorilla Flooring!

I engaged Art for two flooring projects. From the outset, communication was inconsistent. Art recommended purchasing LVT from an overseas supplier, but after considerable back-and-forth I decided not to proceed as there was no clear guarantee regarding product quality or delivery times. To avoid further delays, I sourced the flooring locally. Some may ask why I continued to use Art after my initial concerns. I was already well into the project, working to tight timescales, and chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. The first project was completed satisfactorily. Unfortunately, the second project was not. Before installation, I was advised that floor levelling might be worth considering. We discussed the risks and decided to proceed. However, the finished floor was noticeably uneven in multiple areas, with LVT boards unlocking and clicking underfoot throughout the room. A few weeks later, Art returned to inspect the issues and acknowledged that the standard of the work was poor. He carried out remedial work to areas where the flooring had collapsed around the edges, but in doing so sections of the skirting were damaged. I have included photos as examples. There was also an area of LVT that had become unlocked and was glued back into place because it could not be properly refitted. Despite acknowledging the issues and attempting remedial works, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered despite my efforts to reach an amicable agreement. In my opinion, a professional contractor has a responsibility not only to advise on risks but also to avoid proceeding where the likely outcome is a substandard finish. There are many flooring specialists with strong track records and credible reviews. I would encourage anyone considering this type of work to do their research carefully before proceeding. This review reflects my personal experience of his work and work ethnic and in no shape or form personal in nature. This is now under review by the relevant consumer and trade bodies. I would not want anyone to experience what I have been through and now need to engage someone else to rectify having fully moved into a new property

We had a large hole in our floor from the old chipboard that was installed many years ago and was becoming very unsafe to walk on in our hallway. The guys from Gorilla Flooring came in to quote for new plywood and a new hardwood floor. Brought samples of wood/ stain and lacquer to choose before commencement.
