Description
I bought this unusual skirt in the 1970’s. Kings Rd and it’s antique markets was the place to go for
antique clothes, jewellery, decorative items and much, much more. Sadly, along with several
other emporia it closed some years ago but memories remain! ( and heady scent of patchouli ! )
The skirt is about a 12/14. It is hand- made- a one- off. It has an elasticated frilled edge hem( the
total width at the hem when the elastic is stretched out is approx. 66 cm/ 26 in
The hemline comes just over the knee for tall. Can be pulled up to make more of a “ bell “ shape.

total length of skirt : 71cm/ 28 in
Width of waistband: 7cm/ 3 in
Waist: 66cm/ 26 in
The materials are mixed, including lurex and the colours are “ carnival “!

This for me was the go-to item for Christmas & New Year parties!
