These windows and doors were originally installed in my previous home which was built to Passive Standard. They are the Rolls Royce of windows. Once you've had these you'll never look at windows or doors the same again.
If you are trying to build an airtight property, with super heat efficient doors and windows, you'll need these. I don't how much these would be new now, but I assume probably around £50k. I think the front door set alone would be getting towards £9k.
The bungalow these were installed in only had a small wood burner for heating and hot water.
They are Internorm Dimension + windows, Classic. UPVC frames in white to the inside with aluminium shell to the outside finished in matt grey RAL HM704.
Triple glazed, 5 chamber frames, 80mm construction depth.
Heat insulation - Uw 0.78 W/m2k (that's the performance of the whole window: frame, seals and glass. Not the Ug, which is just glass). Sound insulation of 46dB. When you sat on the floor in front of those big doors, it wasn't cold as the performance of these windows is better than nearly all external walls.
They were removed in February 2022 and have been stored in a barn (in the dark) ever since. I've been keeping them for a barn conversion project but sadly that is now no longer happening.
The doors listed as 'Family Door Set' is made up of: the doors, the two side windows, and then the three windows above. Theses 'top' windows do not have to be used ie, Family Door Set could be 3336 x 2085.
They are in excellent condition albeit a bit dusty. The window in the photos on the lawn is one I pulled out of the barn just to photograph for this ad. I think it is window B (1185 x 500) You can probably make out some of the sealing tape (for air tightness) on the inside of the frame which was plastered over. You'll also see some white stuff on the edge of the outside of the frame. This is because the property they were installed in was timber frame and had an external polymer render (Resitex). Some of that coating is still on the external frame as shown in one of the photos. It will 'pick off'. Obviously, if they were being installed in a wall which will be rendered or clad, it probably wouldn't be necessary.
All the windows and doors (except the front and rear doors) are tilt and turn. They open inwards for both tilt and turn operation.
I have the original matching window sills (they weren't used for our installation), which are 185mm and have never been taken out of their wrapping.
I have all the 'twist and lock' frame fixings and spacers plus all the installation manuals and service books.
Internorm guarantee these windows for 30 years.
Sizes quoted are frame sizes. NOTE: the heights DO NOT include the sill. I'm 99% sure that the sill is 30mm high so needs to be added to the window height if you want to install with the sill.
There are some photos from inside the property to give an idea of their size and proportion.
I want to sell these preferably as a job lot.
They need to be collected. I'm between Dorchester and Yeovil. When we moved them, we used a Luton truck with a tail lift which worked great. They will easily fit in one load. I used loads of bubble wrap and pillows to stop them marking.
