We recently had the absolute pleasure of welcoming John into our home, and it was nothing short of magical from start to finish. From the moment he arrived, he brought such a warm, engaging presence that immediately put everyone at ease. His performance was beautifully paced, full of wonder, laughter, and those delightful “how on earth did he do that?” moments that had both children and adults completely captivated. What made the experience truly special was how interactive it was. He didn’t just perform at us—he involved everyone, creating a shared sense of excitement and joy that lingered long after the tricks were over. There were gasps, laughter, and plenty of smiles all around. It’s not easy to entertain a mixed group, but he managed it effortlessly, striking that perfect balance between charm, humour, and genuine skill. You could tell this wasn’t just a performance—it was something he truly loves doing. If you’re looking to create a memorable, magical atmosphere for a special occasion, we couldn’t recommend him more highly. It was a truly wonderful experience, and one we’ll be talking about for a long time. Thank you for such a special 60th birthday evening!

John entertained our party of 17 for two hours as pre-dinner entertainment. He was excellent and interacted brilliantly with us in small groups and then, ultimately, as a whole group. He produced a wide range of tricks and mind-reading acts. People were still talking about it over breakfast the following day and there was plenty of laughter, amazement and wonder throughout the performance. John was a delight to deal with, responding promptly and personally to all enquiries. I fully recommend him.

Absolutely brilliant! John performed close-up and group magic at my dad’s 60th birthday party on Saturday night, and he truly made the evening unforgettable. His magic was mind-blowing, and he had everyone—from kids to grandparents—completely captivated. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he’s also personable, professional, and knows exactly how to engage a crowd.
