Description

Red Mist Blues is an experienced, professional jazz and blues instrumental trio (Nathanial Coxon on piano, Alex Di Maio on bass and Tauny Southwood on drums). We play cool, easy listening and accessible jazz and blues tunes, either as a focal point for your event or as background music with a sophisticated vibe. If you would like to hear us live, we have a regular gig at The Station, Kings Heath, on the second Sunday afternoon of every month. We have recently been playing in Italy at the Umbria Jazz Festival 2024 fringe events, and have been invited back to play in 2025. Our website can be found here: https://redmistblues.bandzoogle.com/

In addition to jazz and blues instrumental nights, we work with a number of excellent vocalists and other instrumentalists (e.g. brass section) to provide music for themed events, for example: 1920s Flapper nights, or re-interpretations of popular music e.g. Ed Sheeran, Beatles or even Disney songs!
