Full-time, permanent | Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 DOE | Hours, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm

Run the warehouse and get our customers’ orders out on the road

Our client is a growing supplier of roofing and building materials to customers across the UK. As they expand, they are looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Warehouse Manager / Delivery Driver to join the team.

You’ll split your time between the warehouse and the road. You’ll keep stock levels accurate and the warehouse running smoothly, and you’ll be the friendly face customers see when their delivery arrives. You’ll report directly to the Directors, so you’ll have real ownership of how the warehouse runs.

What you’ll be doing

In the warehouse

Receiving, checking, and safely storing incoming stockKeeping stock levels accurate through regular stock checks, and flagging when items need reorderingPicking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately and on timeKeeping the warehouse clean, safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety proceduresHandling customer collections and goods-in/goods-outSuggesting and making improvements to how the warehouse runs
On the road

Making local deliveries to customers and building sitesLoading and unloading vehicles safely and securelyCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defectsGetting delivery signatures and keeping delivery records accurateRepresenting the business professionally with every customer you meet
You’ll also help the sales and admin team when it’s busy.

What we’re looking for

Essential

Full UK driving licenceExperience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics roleGood organisation and time management, with a strong eye for detailAble to lift and move building materials safelyGood communication and customer service skillsComfortable working on your own and as part of a team
Nice to have

Experience in roofing or building productsFLT (forklift) licenceKnowledge of stock control systemsExperience managing warehouse operations
