Selling my manual Volvo S60 with the early D5244T engine, 163hp Euro 3, so no DPF or swirl flaps to worry about.

Too good to scrap but needs some TLC.

I’ve been offered a new car by a family member so no longer need mine. Gutted to see it go but with the MOT about to expire I no longer have the space or time to work on the car.

Big jobs already done (last 12–18 months):

Refurbished power steering rack (the biggest job on these)
Full rear brake refresh: calipers, pads, discs, handbrake shoes, adjusters, cable
New tyres
Aux belt
New battery

Part service history up to 2013, which I've turned into a digital log alongside invoices so you can see exactly what's been done and when.

Honest condition: Rough around the edges, dings and scrapes. Interior panels quite tired. But the major mechanical work has been kept on top of. Had a bump in a carpark last year which you can see from photo of front bumper but all secured properly.
ABS service required comes on intermittently - needs new ABS rings (included in price)

There's a quirk when turning right at speed, which I believe is the track rod end. (Included in price)

MOT is due 9th June. To pass it realistically wants: washer jets, headlight bulbs, handbrake adjusting, and ABS rings.
Began doing this work myself (new handbrakes recently) and bought most of the relevant parts but situation has changed and I no longer have time or space.

Parts included in the price (all new):

Aux belt tensioner (the old tensioner squeals - I didn’t have the right socket so never got round to fitting but new one comes with the car)
ABS rings
Drop links
Track rod ends

So whoever buys it can get stuck into some DIY with almost everything they need to hand. £600 is exactly what I paid for it. I'd happily keep it, but a family member offered me their old car at a price too good to refuse.
