2014 facelift model hence the final edition of the fabulous V70 benefitting from a number of exterior revisions including restyled front bumper & grille with daylight running LED lights, restyled rear bumper, LED tail lights & upgraded interior features, notably the superb Adaptive Digital Display. In addition, whilst having the must have D5 engine, owing to the latest technology Volvo applied to the last of these models, it benefits from a car tax rate of just £170 per annum & a real world 58mpg (I’ve regularly achieved 65+mpg on long journeys).

With a very low mileage of 104,473miles, impeccable & complete service history & in simply stunning condition throughout, I would argue there is no finer vehicle, let alone a V70 – powerful D5 final version engine & as a result low running costs (significantly superior to most other D5’s), extensive, luxurious specification, utterly practical whilst being supremely comfortable.

First registered to Volvo themselves on the 19th June 2013, it was then sold by Motor Park Volvo to the second owner from whom I purchased it directly in 2024. I had been searching for a V70 of this quality for almost a year & unlike most, my car has been cossetted from day one & fastidiously maintained. Mine has never been used as Volvo intended with an unmarked interior including boot area & stunning exterior.

The service history is full & complete with a total of 13 stamps, I have only ever used Volvo main dealers (Caffyns Of Eastbourne), the latest being performed on the 21st November last year, just 553 miles ago. Serviced annually at the following intervals – 4 miles (Volvo), 5,976 miles (Volvo), 18,639 miles (Volvo), 33,822 miles (Volvo), 48,850 miles (Volvo), 56,073 miles (Volvo), 61,164 miles (Specialist), 69,073 miles (Volvo), 75,707 miles (Specialist), 83,746 miles (Specialist), 91,908 miles (Specialist), 100,786 miles (Volvo) & 103,920 miles (Volvo). The cambelt, water pump & auxiliary belts were changed as per schedule in 2023 at 91,908 miles. Naturally, as a result of this ‘no expense spared’ attitude towards the cars maintenance, coupled with both mine & the previous owners fastidious nature, the car is faultless. Whilst not due, I will MOT the Volvo upon sale therefore it will come with 12 months.
